Secure Path v3.0C Service Pack 2.1 for Novell NetWare
Feb. 09, 2005

Supplemental Notes

You must be running a minimum v3.0C of the Secure Path for NetWare product before applying this update.
This update will not work on versions earlier than v3.0C. This is due to a change in the supported Host Bus Adapters (HBAs)
from the "Persian" card (v3.0B and earlier) and to the FCA2214 Qlogic card (v3.0C and later).
If you do not have a complete copy of v3.0C and require this update, contact your HP Service Representative.

To install this Service Pack:

1.	Extract the contents of the Zip file (spnw30csp21wg.zip) to a temporary folder on your local drive(eg: c:\temp).

2.	Change to c:\temp and extract the contents of the file hpqspwg.zip to a diskette.

3.	On the NetWare Server, Use nwconfig to edit the startup.ncf and remove the lines inserted by the original
Secure Path installation. Also, comment out the lines "load QL2300.HAM SLOT=XXX", if they
        are already present.

4. Place the diskette in disk drive on the server and from the console, enter "a:\pinstall".

5.	Once the installation has been replaced, remove the diskette from the drive
and restart the server by first issuing a "Down" command from the console
and then the "Server" command from C:\nwserver. Alternately, the command "restart server" can be used
        from the server console.

6.	Once the server is completely up, verify that Secure Path is installed by entering
"modules hpqsp.cdm" at the console. The correct version of hpqsp.cdm is 0.11.25.

Instructions for loading build 4.0C SP1 of the GUI

1. Copy the new ClientApp.jar file (provided with this kit) into the directory
where the Secure Path Manager was installed, replacing the previous version. If you
used the defaults for the installation, it resides in:

	<System Drive>:\Program Files\Compaq\SANWorks\Secure Path Manager\html\Files

You only need to copy this file on the machine which is hosting Seure Path Manager.
After the new file is in place, restart the web browser on all client managment machines
to ensure that the newer version is loaded.
